New Chemistry Requires Caution
Scientists love to experiment because that is how we find out about how things actually work. Mercy scientists have read through hundreds of articles in the past year. And we love to read science so it was fun, but it also gave us a concerning pause.
It gave us pause becuase experience tells us that the chemical industry - medical chemical or industrial chemicals - is the one place where live-human experiments usually go wrong. In recent news we are seeing the herbicide glyphosate is now finally recognized as cancer causing agent. It is still used across most of agriculture and in 90% of processed foods containing wheat. It's use is a living experiment on mankind. Science always had a strong case against it, but it took a legal case to really wake us up.
The first lawsuit against Monsanto, the maker of glyphosate, had a $2 billion ruling for punitive damages. The case was put forward by an older cancer-afflicted couple. That's just two people. But in fact, millions of people in each country are affected. Glyphosates are so widespread that even give modest damages to the affected would cost trillions of dollars. The damages will never be paid, and in bitter irony many will get cancer and lose their savings trying to get by. By some account this may be "most toxic product ever made by man."
How did things go wrong? Because in the chemical industry, the industry rules and the regulators work for the rulers. At the trial of Monsanto, it came out that the Environmental Protection Agency even helped Monsanto in destroying evidence that would implicate Monsanto. If you're buying chemicals, caveat emptor, be aware.
What is happening in 2021 is perhaps more egregious than rolling out glyphosate to all of humanity. We are all buying chemicals and injecting them into our bodies. Call them medical-chemicals, biologics, or gene-therapies, by any name these are novel chemicals.
Now let's be clear, we are not saying their safety is worse or greater than other products. We are saying the situation, the setup, the urgency, the desperation by people for a solution, the entire situation is risky. Of course, we hope things work out for those vaccinated but even they have ongoing decisions to make. The industry has said it wants an at least yearly rollout of new vaccines so we all need to understand this space much better.
Experimental = investigational = experiment
The Covid vaccines are not licensed products, they are experimental products that have received a special dispensation to be used.
So how will these experimental products get approved?
They companies have been guided to go get more data and do more clinical trials.
Where will they get that data?
By having you take the experimental product and see what happens. As shown in the operation warp speed plan, vaccine recipients of the experimental product are part of a plan for long term data acquisition. That data will be used to apply for approval for use of the vaccine.
They want your data
They want your data. The data they want from you to apply for vaccine authorization includes
- reports of serious and unexpected adverse events
- concerns specific to the COVID-19 vaccines such as enhanced respiratory disease caused by the vaccine
- information of vaccination impact on pregnancy and infant outcomes
How will pharmaceutical companies get this data?
From the VAERS database, from major hospital groups, and from the V-SAFE system (a smartphone tracking program).
When will they apply for approval of the vaccine?
They need at least 2 years of safety information according to recent documents, so the earliest would be 2023.
Experimental products cannot be insured and there is no accountability
Perhaps the most concerning indication you are in an experiment is that no animal studies have been done for these vaccines. Like crashing an experimental car design with a crash-test dummy, an animal test is the most basic check of an experimental vaccine. It is standard operating procedure until now. Pre-Covid coronavirus vaccines tests crashed and killed the animals, making this step almost a life-or-death pre-check here. Yet, no published animal test were done on these vaccines.
Experimental cars will not be licensed by insurance companies. Expect that your insurance company may deny your insurance claim for disability or death from an experimental vaccine product. We aren't saying these claims will all be denied, but definitely some will.
Despite these facts, some may want to take experimental products. The educated consumer must realize that vaccine makers can't be sued if you become disabled (e.g. through an allergic reaction or blood clot), as they have full legal immunity.
One day these these unapproved vaccines will be approved, but the data needed for that is years away.
In our experience few people think through these issues before reaching for a vaccine. Pharmaceutical science is selling novel unapproved technologies. Be mindful. Glyphosate was a novel experiment on mankind by the biggest chemical company on earth. Top scientists were on board then, as they are now. They felt the risk/reward was worth it. It wasn't. Short term, profit-driven thinking always works the same way. Only scientific data over time can ascertain the safety of something novel. Glyphosate is the perfectly example of Big Science gone wrong. More caution, in our opinion, is always needed.
And that extends to you, because nobody should signup to an experiment by accident.
